India’s Rising Role in the Global Data Centre Ecosystem

A new article from Capacity – a techoraco brand explores how recent disruptions to cloud infrastructure in the Gulf are forcing the digital infrastructure industry to rethink resilience, redundancy, and regional deployment strategies.

As operators reassess where critical infrastructure should be located, India is increasingly emerging as a market to watch.

FLAG CEO Carl Grivner notes: “India is growing massively in terms of data centres right now. It’s underserved in capacity and infrastructure. It’s going to be a massive growth market.”

For the connectivity industry, this shift reinforces the importance of resilient global networks. Subsea and terrestrial infrastructure will be essential to deliver the diversity, capacity, and reliability needed to support the next generation of data centre deployment.
