Could you share some insights into your background and how you came to join FLAG?
I have been in the telecommunications industry for almost ten years, beginning my telco career in a sales support role working closely with the sales organisation serving OTT and Hyperscaler customers. That early experience allowed me to learn the operational and technical aspects of the business from the ground up, which has been instrumental in shaping how I support customers today.
Over time, I transitioned into directly managing and supporting these customers, leveraging my understanding of backend processes, network operations, and commercial workflows to help solve complex connectivity challenges.

What motivates you in your role at FLAG, and how do you maintain your inspiration?
The global connectivity ecosystem is evolving rapidly, shaped by AI, shifting geopolitical dynamics, rising demand, and ongoing disruption. In this environment, my role at FLAG motivates me to act as a trusted partner to customers by listening closely, adapting quickly, and helping them navigate challenges with reliable solutions.
FLAG also operates in some of the most complex regions in the world, while continuing to invest in strengthening and expanding its network. Being part of that growth and transformation is energising and reinforces the importance of resilience and adaptability in everything we do.
What keeps me inspired is FLAG’s ongoing investment in its network, technology, customer experience, and people, along with the company’s ability to evolve with changing market conditions. Staying adaptable, whether to new technologies, systems, or processes, keeps the work dynamic and gives me a strong sense of purpose as I continue to learn and grow.
Is there a specific project or achievement at FLAG that you are particularly proud of?
As global demands accelerate, FLAG’s Vision 2030 is focused on advancing global connectivity, driving innovation, and enabling sustainable digital growth, building a stronger and more globally relevant FLAG for the decade ahead. I am particularly proud to be part of workstreams supporting these initiatives, focused on making our end to end processes more seamless for both our internal teams and our customers. As we continue to evolve our systems and ways of working, we are improving collaboration and efficiency, which ultimately enhances customer experience while also creating a better environment and stronger culture for our people.
How do you approach challenges and overcome obstacles in your work?
I enjoy solving problems and continuously learning, and I approach each challenge with confidence and curiosity. While I may not have every answer, I am proactive about listening, asking questions, and finding solutions. I view setbacks as opportunities to improve, using each experience to strengthen how I solve problems, communicate, and collaborate.
What roles do your colleagues and team members play in your success at FLAG?
My colleagues and team members play a critical role in my success. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support enable us to deliver strong outcomes for our customers and continuously raise the standard of how we operate. We truly function as ONE TEAM.
Are there any mentors or individuals who have had a significant impact on your career here?
I have been fortunate to learn from excellent mentors both within and outside the organisation who have guided, challenged, and supported my professional development. Their perspectives and encouragement have helped shape my decision-making and given me the confidence to grow into my role.
What advice would you offer to new employees or those striving to excel in their careers at FLAG?
FLAG is a fast-evolving organisation with strong momentum and exciting growth opportunities. My advice is to remain adaptable, stay curious, and be open to continuous learning. Building relationships with colleagues and seeking out mentors can make a big difference, and taking small steps outside of your comfort zone can lead to meaningful growth.
