1. Could you share some insights into your background and how you came to join FLAG? 

I’ve been working for more than 25 years in telecom market in various roles including project management and delivery, service management, local access management. This is my 2nd time with the FLAG family, this time my role is within procurement and vendor management.

2. What motivates you in your role at FLAG, and how do you maintain your inspiration?

My motto is buying smart and spending worth.

3. Is there a specific project or achievement at FLAG that you are particularly proud of? 

I’ve had the honour to participate in a variety of projects for our global customers to establish the network in APAC.

4. How do you approach challenges and overcome obstacles in your work? 

We can negotiate everything but “give and take” always delivers the best solutions.

5. What role do your colleagues and team members play in your success at FLAG? 

Many professional colleagues help me to expand my network knowledge including team members from the product and marketing teams, from the network design team, from the operations and sales team.

6. Are there any mentors or individuals who have had a significant impact on your career here? 

My team manager always trusts me and provides me with great flexibility. There are so many FLAG colleagues who are always sharing their valuable experience which has definitely helped me to drive the procurement strategy in APAC.

7. What advice would you offer to new employees or those striving to excel in their careers at FLAG? 

It’s always good to try to settle into a new role as quickly as possible as this will enable you to grow and gain wider experience across the entire business chain.
